Take 1:

The Web was designed to be a collaborative environment, connecting knowledge and linking people together. It has succeeded in distributing information, but feels like it's failed to fully meet it's potential for bringing people together. I've set out to do my small part in changing that: on2me brings IM to the Web, simple and easy. Just drop a script on your server, and some html in any web page, and you have spontaneous chat, instant community and communication. No heavy overhead configuration, software, Java, Flash, or anything special, it just works!

Take 2:

I've been using the web for over 10 years now, and I've finally given up on the promise of Java, Flash, and all these new-fangled "Social Networking" sites to make the web more of an interactive community. What I did was use the traditional existing web browser and a simple server cgi (or php) script and make it work using the best of what I've learned. Just browse any site using on2me and you can chat with anyone else, instant community, instant cool.

Take 3:

Sure, there's been other "Web Chat" and "Browser-based Instant Messaging" systems, but they're either slow, clunky, Java, Flash, or just plain ugly and hard to use. Enter Stage Left: on2me. This system is the result of years of experience working on web and IM technologies and brings together the best-of-breed techniques to make such a simple and cool result possible. It helps people connect and communicate, how fun is that?
